7th Grade Today--Students completed a vocbabulary exercise over unit 3 in class--synonyms and antonyms. They also had Reader's Workshop.

8th Grade Today--As a class we went over our comparison chart of Big John from the ballad of the same name and the character John Hickam in the film, October Sky. Tomorrow all students should bring their comparison charts, which we will transfer onto a T-chart for comparisons.

Agenda: 2 RRJ's due Friday, October 30. Students may choose from visualizing, questioning, or determining important ideas. Please submit 2 different types of entries.
