We wrapped up the week with Reader's Workshop in LA today. Students read an article entitled "King of Comedy" in this week's issue of Scope. In the article, we learned about literary devices that comedy writers use to inject humor into their works. Some of these devices include irony, sarcasm, parody, and puns. Students considered ways they could include literary devices in their memoirs.
