My family and I spent the weekend at Koontz Lake in Walkerton, Indiana. I started a new novel and enjoyed reading while everyone else fished from the pontoon, where I even took a little nap yesterday afternoon. My guys, Mr. Venekamp and Bobby, got to play 18 holes of golf on Bobby's birthday Sunday. It was a great way to relax and reconnect, which is what I've always thought Labor Day should be.
We will have Picture Day tomorrow, but remember to keep your dress appropriate please. We sent home the bright orange announcements about dress code, so please consult that before you leave home in the morning.
