Wild day today! The 8th graders made a noble attempt to beat the faculty team at volleyball, but alas it didn't work out so well. Congrats, though, to The Exceptions team for actually breaking a school record and beating the teachers in one game :c)
It's been difficult for absent students to see the films we viewed in class this week. I have, though, been able to find the Children's March online on YouTube for the 8th grade to watch. It is divided into four sections, so if you need to view it, make sure you watch all four parts.
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7ctiaiujJU
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0oftqyWYqU
Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LG765MwXEx4
Part 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epBT8qxXuW0
The absent 7th grade students can stay after school on Monday afternoon, and we will view the Rosa Parks documentary again. There is a 24 pt. viewing guide that accompanies it, and students need this information to draft their persuasive essay.
Everyone have a great weekend.
Fondly,
Mrs. V~
