Today students took their winter NWEA Reading Tests. Parents, please ask your students how they did. For the most part, students took the test seriously and improved their scores, which pleases me greatly.
Tomorrow we will wrap up our unit 5 word list and complete some textbook exercises related to those words. Students can expect a test over this unit on Thursday. We will also spend some time on our short persuasive works, which will help us launch our persuasive writing unit. We are playing around with irony and humor on this one, so hang onto your hats, everyone :)
Everybody stay warm. The temperature should be rising later in the week...hooray!
