I decided that we needed a little drama in class today, so I turned the east side of my room into a coffee shop and students wrote skits set in this coffee shop that included their current vocabulary words.
It was a hoot! Students seemed to really get their creative juices flowing, and the quote of the day comes from Ryan, who said, "I see a penguin, and I think he has stolen my desk!"
Tomorrow we will introduce five new vocabulary words to add to our unit 4 list. Friday we will complete the list.
Agenda: 2 RRJ entries, student's choice, due Friday, December 4. (Book Talk presenters for Dec. 4 and Dec. 7 are exempt from this assignment.)
